Each teacher with 3 or more video submissions could win a free trip to ISTE!
Belk, ISTE, and Discovery Education have upped the ante this year. Any teacher that submits at least 3 student videos will be entered to win a free trip to ISTE in Philadelphia this summer.
What do you have to do?
Encourage students in grades 6-8 to participate in the Belk Service Learning Challenge and work in teams of up to four members to create a 1-2 minute creative video. The video should describe a problem in their community and the students’ action plan to address it. The challenge is open to grades 6-8 within the following states – AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MD, MO, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WV.
When is the deadline?
The Challenge deadline has been extended to Friday, March 13, 2015 at 5:00pm EST.
How do I start?
Go to http://www.belkservicelearningchallenge.com/challenge to register now. You can always return later to upload your video.
